A Little Love And Lace - BoBunny

 Good Morning!! Have you seen the new Love and Lace Collection from BoBunny? Such rich and wonderful colors. And the best part...it's not just for Valentines Day. Here I made a Birthday Card for my Mom and one for a wedding we have coming up. My favorite thing for making cards is the 6x6 paper pad. Happy Happy Day - BoBunny

 Good Morning and Happy Monday! Last week on the BoBunny blog I shared some more of my Misc. Me pages. Since Nicole got married, I promised her an album of her shower..so here is the start of it! I had fun decorating the album with pieces of the Noteworthy and some blush glitter paste.

 The little pocket squares are so fun to choose from, they just add that little "somethin, somethin" to the page.

 The frames were cut with the new Nested Fancy Frames Dies. I grouped two frames together to cut out a thin border.

 If your wondering about the hat..well.. that's a tradition here. You gather all the bows from the presents and make the bride a hat!! Fun right? I loved the big letters from the Noteworthy pack that spelled "LOVE", so I used them on the four pockets.

Wedding Misc. Me - BoBunny

 Good Morning!! Today I'm sharing a project I did for the BoBunny blog featuring the new Madeleine collection and the Misc. Me Journal Contents. I loved the soft colours and the elegant look of the paper collection, so the first thing that came to my mind was Nicole's wedding photos. I wanted them to stand out on the page but since her wedding colours had purples, I turned the photos black and white. I really liked the look it gave the pages. I don't do a weekly or monthly spread in my Misc. Me binder, I do random pages, things I want to remember, no specific day, month or even year. It's about the memories for me. I also got to play with all the new BoBunny mixed media goodies like the Stickable Stencils, Pearlescents and Ink Pads... ohhh don't forget the new Glitter Paste.. oh my it's my new favourite thing!!! Life Captured - Scrapstuffz

Morning Everyone! Today I'm up at Scrapstuffz with my Inspiration layout. What do you see when you see the inspiration photo? I immediately see color, and then my mind starts thing about what collection would work, lol. When I saw this photo, I saw pink and butterflies... and in my mind that equalled the new Primrose collection from BoBunny. I've been waiting for the right moment to dig into this collection and today was the day!! Along with a photo of Nicole on her wedding day, it came together quite nicely I thought. I even added a few chipboard pieces I got from Creative Embellishments which I left brown to compliment the browns in the patterned paper. Happy Monday!!! It's almost the first day of spring and I so excited for winter to be over!!! Today is reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy and I have had this photo on my fridge that I've wanted to scrap! The perfect sketch always come's along!! This is my niece Laya and her husband Aaron. It's actually their Thank You card that they sent out from their wedding. I just love it!! It was fun to do a romantic layout! Family - Frosted Designs

Today at Frosted Designs we have a new sketch reveal. I love when I see a sketch that looks frilly and I look at those flowers and go...YEAH! Our latest challenge #68 is up at ScrapFIT. If you are a regular, you know of our Weekend Warm Up Coach Missy and her love of Misting. Well this challenge is in honor of Missy! I love to mist so out came the bottles of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I was only going to mist a little piece of the background paper, but...ummm...once I started I kept thinking I needed to add "just a little more"..and as you can see, the whole background became misted, lol. I even misted the little envelope! This of course is a photo of my daughter Nicole and her husband Chris on the wedding day. I wanted to keep the layout simple, but I just can't resist flowers!! Sketchabilities #70 Timeless

I'm so enjoying being part of the Sketchabilities team. I find Karan's sketches so easy to work with. I see the sketch and I just get inspiration. I chose to do this one of Nicole and Ryan. Even though they are almost five years apart in age, they have been the best of friends from the beginning. I have never seen them utter a harsh word at each other or raise their voices. They have supported each other, and even with Nicole living away from home now, all I hear is how they text or call each other daily. They may live far apart but still remain as close as ever. Ryan has always just called her "Sis", and on her wedding day he gave the toast to the bride and started his speech with "Sis", lol. They are both so special and I love when the two of them are together.

Frosted Designs - Cherish

For our Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesday Challenge I decided to use a photo of Nicole and I on her wedding day. This is a photo I haven't scrapped yet. I was saving it for a special layout and this was it. One night Nicole came and sat by me in my studio and said she had a question to ask me. She asked if I would be her Matron of Honor at her wedding. I was stunned. I quickly asked if she wanted someone skinnier, younger, a friend maybe?? She looked at me and said "Mom, there is no one that I want standing by my side when I marry Christopher but you, you are my best friend". That was the biggest compliment I could have ever gotten. I proudly stood by her on her wedding day with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I love my girl and she truly is my best friend.

I Can't Wait

I was so excited this morning to find out I won the challenge at Scrapbookers Paradise and was also asked to be a guest designer for the next challenge. All I saw was the prompt for layouts that are musically inspired. I was all over this challenge since I love to use songs as inspiration and titles for my layouts. Then I realized that I'm the guest designer for the NEXT challenge, lol. Tis ok friends, I'm sure I can do another layout, lol. I used a song I picked for their wedding to do their slide show. I LOVE IT! (See below to hear the song) .I used the sketch at Once Upon A Sketch where the sketches are just so beautiful. The prompt was to do a layout of man that you love....so let me begin. My hidden journaling reads:

Christopher is my new son in law whom I love with all my heart.

 He has been apart of our family for almost 10 years.

He has been by Nicole's side through it all. 

After her accident he could have walked away, but he stayed.

He loves her with all his heart, and it shows.

When a mother gives her baby girl away,

it's not just to anyone.

I'm so honored to call Christopher my son. I love you Chris!

A Night to Remember

The love story of Nicole and Chris continues. They have so many beautiful photos, I'm never short of photos to scrap. I will have this album done hopefully before their one year anniversary which is August 6th. They are such a beautiful couple, not only in the photos, but in their everyday lives. The are kind hearted and so loving. When I saw the sketch at Get Creative I knew it was perfect for the wedding album. They are a blog based out of Greece...well my last name is Greek, so I was excited to join the fun. Also today I found at challenge at one of my go to blogs for inspiration Crop Stop and also entered my layout their for their latest challenge.
