Scrap a Little Guest Design Spot
I'm so excited! Today I am featured as a guest designer for Scrap A Little. This is the sketch Helen gave me to work with and my two takes on it. The rest of my layouts can been seen on her site, so if you get a chance, please check it out! This is my first guest design spot, so I'm really thrilled to be a "little" part of Scrap a Little. Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy Holiday Season to you and yours!

Our Day
My daughter Nicole finally got all her engagement photos! I was so excited! They took 91 photos in all which I have on my computer ready to scrap! The photos are so beautiful and they go with every paper line, lol. I told Nicole and Chris that I can scrap for at least a month with all these. This layout is another one I did for my guest design spot for scrap-a-little. This is Helen's sketch #13. I love working with her sketches and the inspiration on her site. I'm very excited to be featured on her blog. My guest spot is December 15 so I'm busy working with the sketch she sent. Have a wonderful day everyone....blessings!
Pose
This is my beautiful little niece Renee! She is always up for a photo shoot. We have so much fun together because my "little ones" are now 18 & 22, and she is 10..so she still wants to hang out with aunty! I did this layout for my guest design spot on Helen Crofts blog scrap-a-little. This sketch was #35. I am working on a new sketch for the design spot...but I will have to keep that one a secret until December 15!

Scrap-a-little #32
This is my take on a sketch by one of my favourite artists, Helen Croft who has a blog called scrap a little. When I saw the sketch I knew exactly which photos to pick. I think the story behind the layout is pretty funny (or maybe you had to be there, lol). I like shabby clothes! When I bought my "holy jeans" my mom looked at them and said "who would pay money for jeans with holes in them?". I said "Mom, they are holy jeans"...She then looks at me and says "Are you telling me you had them blessed?". I then had to explain lol. So this is my tribute to my "holy jeans" and just me being me!

Sketches In Thyme Challenge #15
I'm having such fun doing sketch challenges. It really helps when your having a creative block! These are more photos from Nicole and Chris' trip to the coast. They took tons of pictures for me, so I'm ready for more sketches. This one came from Sketches In Thyme and the sketch was done by the talented Helen Croft. This sketch is also on her blog scrap-a-little-sketches #24. It was so much fun to do, I can't wait for the next one!

Well my creative block is on the mend, lol. I've been trying to use this Bo Bunny line for awhile now and finally found the photo for it and the sketch! My husband and I went on a little getaway and as we were driving I saw a wildflower meadow. I just had to get out and dance and just sit in the meadow for awhile. While patiently waiting he took the camera and took a few shots ( now here is a man that appreciates scrapbooking lol). The holiday was a wonderful romantic getaway, the meadow soothed my soul and it gave me a chance to use my favourite paper line. The fun part was making the flowers...it was a first for me, now I'm hooked. My sister told me about Helen Croft and her sketches. She has such an inspiring blog called.Scrap a Little .Her sketches are amazing. This is my take on #22. Thanks Helen.
