Sisters, Faith
and Casey, their mother, and grandmother are on a holiday in the Outer Banks of
Carolina to celebrate their grandmothers 90th birthday. It should be
a joyous celebration except that Faith and Casey are still bitter about a feud
that happened years ago. Can the two sisters put aside their differences and
enjoy the beach like they did when they were children? What will happen when a
handsome handyman enters the picture? Will history repeat itself or can both
sisters find their happily ever after's?
This was a
beautiful story by Jenny Hale about family and how even though they love each
other, they can still harbor long ago hurts. The wisdom of the generations was
so lovely, and I really enjoyed the character of Nan the grandmother. Each
character had their own struggles to overcome, and they all had lessons to
learn. The relationship of the two sisters was written so well that I could
feel the tension between them and loved that they had to work through real life
issues together. My thanks to Forever Publishing, Jenny Hale and Netgalley for
an advanced copy to read and review. Opinions expressed are my own.
