Hope works with Ivey in the veterinarian clinic and has also given up on love after a tragic incident when she was a teenager. She has become a loner and is distanced from her family. The only one she trusts is Ivey and their friendship. When Hope meets Corbin’s brother Lang, she starts to feel something she has not felt in a long time.

This was such a sweet story with the bonus of not one, but two romances blossoming. I loved all the characters and was excited to journey through the story with Ivey and Hope. The little boy Justin was just the sweetest character in the story, and I fell in love with him right at the beginning of the book. This was the perfect book to curl up with on a rainy day.
