Forever with you by Barb Curtis
Leyna Milan is trying to carry on her grandfather’s legacy by running her family’s restaurant. To open a second location, she must enter in a business agreement with the Wynter winery and open her restaurant on their property. Everything seems to be going according to plan until Jay Wynter walks into a board meeting. What is the man who broke her heart doing back in Sapphire Springs?
Jay Wynter is home to help his grandfather after he falls ill. He has been abroad trying to forget his first and only love and when he sees her sitting in his family’s boardroom, he is not sure he should have returned home. When he is told he will take over the winery when his grandfather retires, he wonders if he is truly up for the task.
With both their family’s legacies on the line, Leyna and Jay must work together to promote both businesses while trying to heal old wounds. When they can not keep their feelings for each other aside any longer, they must decide if they can open their hearts and heal old wounds.
What a fabulous start to a new series by Barb Curtis. The two main characters were written so beautifully and supporting characters were introduced to us as well, making us wonder who the next book in the series will be about. I loved the small-town atmosphere, the tight family ties, and the bonds the characters have with each other. I laughed, I cried, and I was cheering for Jay and Leyna right from the start. Thank you so much to the author Barb Curtis, Forever, (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
Thank you so much for stopping by the farmhouse. Lynn
