Jeopardy in July - A Jamie Quinn Mystery - Book Review & Giveaway Winner

https://amzn.to/2WxnAc3

Our Give-A-Way Winner is...............Janet!!!
Janet, you will be contacted by email!
Congrats!!!

Jamie Quinn, family lawyer living in Hollywood, Florida is right in the middle of another mystery!
Jamie is approached by a client who thought he had a valuable painting left to him by his father, but they soon find out it’s a forgery. What happened to the original? Jamie puts her best PI and long time friend Duke on the job.

Jamie then heads to the senior living facility La Vida Boca to see some new clients where she soon finds out one of the clients is suddenly “unavailable”. When Jamie takes a part time job at the facility, she soon notices that residents are dying, and it looks like it’s no coincidence. Who can she trust at La Vida Boca to help her discover the truth? Jamie turns to Nick, her frenemy with the DA’s office for a little advice, and that’s where things start to get interesting. Can Jamie figure out who the culprit is before she winds up in the clutches of the killer? And how is the forged painting a part of all this?

Barbara Venkataraman has done it again writing a brilliant mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The story twists, turns and twists again. I loved watching the character of Jamie evolve through this series along with her friends, Duke, Grace, Nick and Jessie. There is even a surprise appearance from another character Jamie has worked with in the past. In this book, and I am not going to spoil it, Jamie finally finds out if her father will be allowed to come to the United States. At the end of the book it looks like Jamie might be headed on a new career path, so I’m already excited for the sixth book in the series.

Thank you so much to Barbara Venkataraman for gifting me with the book to read and review. I absolutely love this series!

This series just keeps getting better!! Author Barbara Venkataraman hits another home run with this fourth book in the Jamie Quinn series.

Jamie Quinn, a family lawyer is trying to help a high-profile client with her divorce when things turn deadly. She is warned, she is threatened, but Jamie and her best friend Grace will not let sleeping dogs lie. They keep digging up information with the help of PI Duke Broussard until the truth if finally revealed.

In the midst of her case, Jamie is also helping her neighbor gather information on a plane crash that killed her sister and husband and left their young daughter parentless. Duke is in the throngs of this investigation as well and things turn deadly once again. Can Jamie find the answers this family is desperately seeking?

Jamie Quinn is one of my favourite characters of all time. She is sweet, funny, quirky, and smart. She is is not afraid to take on the tough cases and her heart is always in the right place. Along with the cast of supporting characters, you feel like you are right in the throngs of the mystery right along with them. Barbara Venkataraman is a brilliant writer and her stories are complex yet easy to follow. I love how not only Jamie’s story evolves but the supporting characters as well.  I am so excited for the next book in the series. What will Jamie be up to next?

Thank you so much to Barbara Venkataraman for an advanced copy of the book to read and review. It was absolutely fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.

https://amzn.to/3cj1grZ

Scroll down for our give-a-way

Jamie Quinn is racing to beat the clock!

Jamie Quinn is a family lawyer living in Hollywood Florida, enjoying her new life and new love with childhood boyfriend Kip Simons. Kip has recently come back home to take a new job as the Director of Broward County Parks and is running into some trouble. Someone is vandalizing the parks leaving messages for Kip and that someone wants him out of the picture. Jamie gets a threatening email with photos attached, and things quickly start heating up. When Jamie and Kip are at a festival, things turn tragic. Is the emailer and the killer the same person? Who wants Kip out of the way so bad that they would turn to murder?

Jamie is at a loss, so she turns to her friend, the infamous Duke, the Private Investigator to help her figure out who is threatening her and Kip. When Duke starts digging, new information is brought to light, and it is a race against the clock to save Kip and Jamie.

What a fabulous continuation of the Jamie Quinn Mystery series. This is the third book but can be read as a stand alone novel as the author Barbara Venkataraman does a fabulous job of catching you up on all the back stories from the previous two books. I do find though, that you will want to read them all, so grab the first two to watch the characters develop. I loved catching up with Jamie, Grace and Duke, and the side story of Jamie’s father. I cannot say enough great things about this series, I am absolutely loving it.
