This series just keeps getting better!! Author Barbara Venkataraman hits another home run with this fourth book in the Jamie Quinn series.

Jamie Quinn, a family lawyer is trying to help a high-profile client with her divorce when things turn deadly. She is warned, she is threatened, but Jamie and her best friend Grace will not let sleeping dogs lie. They keep digging up information with the help of PI Duke Broussard until the truth if finally revealed.

In the midst of her case, Jamie is also helping her neighbor gather information on a plane crash that killed her sister and husband and left their young daughter parentless. Duke is in the throngs of this investigation as well and things turn deadly once again. Can Jamie find the answers this family is desperately seeking?

Jamie Quinn is one of my favourite characters of all time. She is sweet, funny, quirky, and smart. She is is not afraid to take on the tough cases and her heart is always in the right place. Along with the cast of supporting characters, you feel like you are right in the throngs of the mystery right along with them. Barbara Venkataraman is a brilliant writer and her stories are complex yet easy to follow. I love how not only Jamie’s story evolves but the supporting characters as well.  I am so excited for the next book in the series. What will Jamie be up to next?

Thank you so much to Barbara Venkataraman for an advanced copy of the book to read and review. It was absolutely fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
