Enchanted Harvest Canvas - BoBunny

Good Morning and Happy November! I will NOT count the days until Christmas, lol.. Today I am sharing a canvas I made on the BoBunny Facebook page. Fall is my favourite time of year, and I could scrap with the Enchanted Harvest collection all day long!! I had this saying that I wanted to use for awhile now, and couldn't help making it into a canvas. I cut out the pre-printed squares from the collection which were on the patterned paper, and placed them around the edges. The two sunflowers were from the Chipboard pieces and then I finished off with some of the stickers. Next came the stickable stencils and the Pearlescents to add some pizzaz to the canvas. A very easy project that now has a special spot on the wall in my studio. Enjoy your day... until next time.

Travel Clipboard Canvas - BoBunny

Morning!!! How's everyone's day? This is a project I did for BoBunny using the Souvenir collection. Everytime I make a mini album or altered item, Nicole snatches them up and takes them home. Ryan says one day "well I would have taken that shadow box you did of Sis and I"... so I decided to make him this clipboard canvas where he can clip whichever photo he wants on it. He has done quite a bit of travelling, so I wanted to keep a generic travel theme. I'm sure he has photos to put on it, but this one I took off his facebook page, lol... Surprise!!!!

I played with all the new BoBunny goodies on this project. The new glimmer sprays, the stencils, the ink pads and stamps and don't forget those new Pearlescent Pens... perfect for stencils!!

Some Canvas Fun

Morning!! A few weekends ago my hubby was at flight school and I had the day all to myself. I didn't want to clean so I headed into the studio to play with some canvas's. If you remember my story, my goal for the year is to create twenty six canvas's from A-Z. I lacked a little over the holidays, so now I'm hoping I'm back on track. So here is E, F and G! Some paint, some gelatos, a few bottles of spray and a ton of fun!

D is for Dream

D is for Dream
What do you dream about? Is it a day dream where you are scrapping or
art journaling all day in your pj's? Whatever your dream is, hold on,
imagine it is coming true because dreams can come true.

Morning!!! Happy New Year!!! Today I'm sharing my next canvas with you. This one has quite a funny story behind it. It started off as a wax paper resist tutorial and ended up with glass beads covering all the resist. That sometimes happens, lol. That's why I love art.. you start with a vision and end up with a surprise.! Here is the little tutorial I did to go along with this canvas ( it was quite the process, you will see). Sorry the photo is a little shiny, had such a glare from those beads, lol

C is for Create

Today is a reminder to Create. To let go, have fun, just do what feels good!!

I had fun working with this one. Lots of modeling paste and stencils. I wanted the white and brown look,so I held fast to not grabbing more paint or spray. I altered some letters and just let go and had fun. This is what this journey is for me. To learn new techniques, to have fun and let go. I'm working on doing tutorials, so forgive me if something is missing or not quite right!!!

B is for Believe

B is for Believe - Believe in Yourself, in Your Talents, in Your Creative Journey.

Today I'm sharing another art canvas I'm making for my studio. In the last post I talked about this great idea I have to make 26 canvas's for my walls. So far, so good! I'm on B already!! I'm also having some fun learning about making videos. The movie part I'm still working on, but I'm having fun so far. This project is motivating me to get to my art table, take out those unused supplies and have some fun. These aren't for design teams, they aren't gifts, they are just for me and everyone who visits my studio! Hope your all having a great day!!

Sunflower Canvas

Happy Friday!! What an awesome day! My daughter is here for the weekend, so that means I get to see my gran-puppy Jaxson! It's always so nice when they come home, I miss them so much. I wanted to share a canvas I made for my girlfriends birthday. It was the first project of my attempt at art that I have given away. She was so excited, because her favorite flower is a sunflower and the colors matched her house to a tee! I found this technique from Tim Coffey on Pinterest and just had to give it a try... sooooo much fun! Took me forever to make, but it was worth it. I have no idea how many layers of paint are on this, lol.. My daughter loved it so much I'm going to make her one now!!
