Viola Shipman with her brilliant writing style takes us on a journey we will not soon forget. We can find ourselves in these women, and the struggles they faced as teenagers and adults. The story is humorous in places and yet heartbreaking in others. I absolutely adored the book and had a hard time putting it down. It is the perfect beach read for the summer.
