Seabreeze Christmas by Jan Moran
Ivy and Shelly are running an inn in Summer Beach. Christmas is coming and they are struggling financially, so they are brainstorming ideas to entice people to visit the inn for the holidays. With the help of Poppy, their niece, they come up with some great ideas! A gingerbread bake-off, wreath making, and community potlucks are just a few. When Nick Snow ,a young man down on his luck asks for a room, the women embrace him and welcome him into the fold. There is something special about Nick Snow but they also suspect he is hiding something. When other guests start to arrive, this Christmas just might be the best one yet.
This novel by Jan Moran is the perfect Christmas gift to compliment the Seabreeze series. We get to visit with past characters and get to see how Mitch and Shelly’s relationship is progressing. The main character Ivy is still a little shy about her relationship with Bennett, but I will not spoil that story line with any teasers! This novel is just so sweet filled with not only holiday cheer, but family, friendship, community and most importantly, love. I am such a fan of this series and of Ms. Moran’s brilliant writing style and character development. This is one series you do not want to miss, even those Ms. Moran does an excellent job of filling in the backstory so you can read it as a stand a lone novel. I would like to thank Jan Moran for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
