Amy Winstead is at a crossroads in her life. Her best friend since she was born, Josh is moving back home to start a new job. Cassie has no idea how she is going to survive without him by her side. Cassie is also harboring a secret crush on Josh, but she can not risk telling him in fear she might lose his friendship.
When Josh asks Amy to drive home with him for the holidays, she jumps at the chance to spend just a few more days with him. When a freak snowstorm has them stranded in a small town, will Cassie finally tell Josh how she really feels?
This was just the sweetest story of two best friends falling in love but afraid to tell the other one how they feel. Right from the first page, you could feel the connection between them as Cassie Cross wrote their characters so beautifully. The story captured this friendship so brilliantly you feel like you are right there with them in the motel room watching the snow fall. Who would not love a best friend like Josh! Thank you so much to the author, Cassie Cross, and Booksprout for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
