This novel
by Maisey Yates is the eight book in the Gold Valley series, yet it was the
first one I had read. It can easily be read as a standalone novel, yet the more
I read, the more I wanted to go back to book one to hear the stories of the
other characters in the book. This was such a heartwarming story of love, loss
and friendship. A great book to snuggle up with by the fire. Thank you to
Harlequin-Mira, Maisey Yates and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to
read and review. It was a fabulous read.
