Praise Book Week 3 and Week 4 plus 2 FREEBIES

Praise Book Project Week 3
Good Morning and Happy Friday! It's been quite a week filled with new projects. These are my pages from my Praise Book for the Documented Faith weeks 3 and 4 readings. In my last post  (check it out for a fun freebie), I talked about the combination I am doing with Documented Faith and Illustrated faith. I am proud to say I've been keeping up with my daily readings and scripture plan. I changed up my template for week4 and if you click on the photo down below you can download it for yourself to use, along with another fun freebie!

As I was reading Scripture, there were verses I was highlighting and wanted to document. I thought it would be fun to make a "Prayer Pocket" where I could write on the back of the cards and pop them into the pocket each month. So, I designed one and it's also at the bottom of the post. If you click on the photo, you can download it too.
On a side note, I do a lot of  Bible Journaling freebies that I post in our facebook group, if you want to join us.

Praise Book Project Week 1 and 2 plus a FREEBIE

Praise Book Project and FREEBIE
The "Bible Reading Checklist and Dashboard"

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing a new project that I have started for 2018. It all began when I saw the Praise Book by Illustrated Faith. It was just too cute to pass up! Then I found the Scripture Plan from Beloved Society and I have been so in love with those girls for so long I thought...why not! Something for the Praise Book right? Then I thought about journaling and didn't think I could journal 365 days in a row....so then came my idea of following the Documented Faith weekly Scripture. Still following along? Quite confusing I know lol... so this is how my new project came to be! I think I will call it my "Praise Book Project".

When I first posted this project on Instagram, so many of you wanted to know about the template I was using, and if  I would make it available in the Etsy shop. I could have done that but I thought...let's have a FREEBIE! so I made it into a pdf for you all (the link is at the bottom of this post). Who knows...we could have more freebies for this new project, so check back often! I also share a ton of freebies in our Praise & Pray Facebook group for Bible Journaling if you want to come join us. It's where we hang out and share our lot95 journals and planners. Also in our Etsy shop we have new Bible Journaling goodies to download & print!

Daytimer of Faith Week 9 Tutorial

Documented Faith Week 9 by Lynn Shokoples
Happy Sunday! I have another video tutorial for you today! I was working on my Documented Faith Book last night and thought we could all play together! Since there was no prompt for this week, I decided to journal on some quotes or prayers that I had printed out. Any way we can worship HIM is a good thing! I also found out that I love making tutorial videos. I was so terrified before, but those nerves have calmed. I hope you all are enjoying them. I'm still learning! I am trying to do what I like to see. I love talking tutorials, even though they are longer. Let me know what you think? Longer tutorial videos or short fast forwarded process videos set to music? I'm always open to new ideas and love feedback. I hope you enjoy your day.. and I'm off to work on the next page!

Documented Faith - Weeks 4, 5 & 6

Documented Faith Week 6 by Lynn Shokoples
Good Morning! Today I'm catching up on my Documented Faith Journal. We have been back and forth out to the cabin, so I was getting behind on my weekly prompts. So while I'm working on Week 7, I thought I would share what I've been doing with you. This one is Week 6. I am loving doing this method of documenting. I get to art journal and journal my faith. Win, win!

This is Week 4. I made some tags and thought they would be a fun addition to the page.

Documented Faith Week 5 by Lynn Shokoples
Week 5 I put last because it's my least favourite to be honest. Something wasn't working, and I wasn't sure how to fix it, so for now it will stay like this. Some pages are just like that, and I'm trying to just let it go and move on. Do you have pages like that?

Documented Faith - January Week 2 and 3

Documented Faith January Week2 by Lynn Shokoples
Good Morning! Today I am sharing a few more pages from my Documented Faith journal. Doing the art journal pages and the prompts are just too much fun. I not only get to study the Bible readings, but I also get to practice new art techniques. Win, win right?

Documented Faith Word Prompts by Lynn Shokoples
Since I'm doing this in a daytimer, I have lots of blank pages, so I thought I would do pages that focused on the monthly words. So the top photo is January and February. The pages below are March and April. More art journal fun right? I just can't resist, lol.

Documented Faith - January

Documented Faith January by Lynn Shokoples
Hi Everyone! So here is a fun crafty story. I had made a cover for my Documented Faith Journal, using a colorable calendar from Costco, then went out of town. Came home so excited to start, grabbed my journal and the cover falls off! What? I used Yes Paste and it didn't hold! Guess the cover was too shiny. A learning experience was had, now on to Plan B!! I got out the gelli plate and got to work. Cover...done! All the pages in the journal...gellied! So here is the finished product.

Now what to do with the inside? I needed an idea that would last for all 52 weeks. So I added an extra challenge to the project. Come up with an art page every week, yes every week for the year. So Pinterest here I come! I picked one idea that caught my eye, using squares and started playing. I wanted fun and funky.. always wanted to try a smash style journal! So with some paper and glue and the print out from Stephanie at Documented Faith, my page came together quite nicely, and I was so happy with the outcome. It took me a moment to realize I didn't have to rush, I didn't have to "finish" it by 5:00, I could take my time, have fun and just worship and do some art. So that's week one... so until next week....

Pray - Documented Faith

Pray Bible Page by Lynn Shokoples
Good Morning! Happy Thursday to everyone! This year I am picking a few things to do for the entire year. One year it was a photo a day! Last year it was tracking my food for a year! This year I have chosen several projects. One is the weekly prompt at Documented Faith. The other project I have chosen is One Little Word by Ali Edwards. I was out at the cabin this last week, so I was busy planning how I was going to organize these two things? What kind of binders? Maybe journals? Yikes... I'm still planning! But what I did do, was take the prompt for the month of January at Documented Faith and did a page in my Bible. I couldn't do it on the page from the reading for this week because I already had journaled there, so I picked a verse from Thessalonians. The word for the month is PRAY! I will post some pages from my journal when I have it all ready.

Now on to "One Little Word".. have you picked a word? Mine is:
I will post some pages from the class as I dive in to those this week! I'm so looking forward to the year and doing something new for 365 days! ( A side note... I still take a photo a day and track my food! I guess after a year, it just becomes part of your day, lol). So cheers to 2016 and new adventures!
