A Lot Like Forever- Book Review

Whitney Carlisle is engaged to a wonderful man but she is afraid she is only going to break his heart. Whitney is keeping a secret from her fiancĂ© Trent and has no idea what to do. If she tells him, their future may be destroyed, if she keeps the secret, he may find out and end their relationship anyways. Whitney can not even find the courage to tell her friends, so she is alone in making her decision. Trent is pushing for Whitney to plan the wedding, but in her heart, she just can not do it. When Trent and her friends start piecing clues together, Whitney is forced against a wall.  Will she risk it all and finally tell Trent or will she lose the one man she has always loved?

This novel by Jennifer Snow is not your typical romance. The story begins with the couple already engaged, so this is not your boy meets girl and then they fall in love story. This is a book about one woman’s struggle to tell the truth and risk it all. My heart went out to Whitney’s and Trent’s characters throughout the book as the pieces start to unravel. I loved the book and was also happy to get to visit the recurring characters from the previous books in the Blue Moon Bay series. Thanks to Entangled Publishing for the advanced readers copy which I voluntarily read and reviewed. If you are looking for a heartwarming, small town series friends, add this one to your lists.
