Fiona
Nichols is a veterinarian who is more comfortable around animals than she is
people. When she finds out she has won an award for helping the homeless and
their animals, fear strikes. She can not think of anything worse than having to
stand up and speak before a crowd. She can barely speak when she encounters
people, especially the “hot” guy from her building. When the hot guy becomes
her speaking coach, Fiona starts to panic. Can she get over her shyness in time
to face a crowd? Can Fiona even think of a relationship with a man who is
terrified of dogs, or will they both find they can face their fears if they
have each other?
What a fun,
fresh story Marissa Clarke brings us with this third book in her Animal
Attraction series. I really enjoyed both main characters with their wit and the obstacles they
overcome. The story also gave us insight to the life of a shy introvert which
taught me many things as I myself am an extrovert. Being an animal lover, I also loved all the
furry friends we meet along the way. Thank you Entangled Publishing for my copy
of the book which I read and voluntarily reviewed.
Marissa Clarke is a multi award-winning, RITA® nominated author of romance for adults and teens. She lives on the Texas Gulf Coast with her husband, two cairn terriers, and an abundance of bossy chickens.
Inexplicably, her favorite animal is the giant anteater and at one point, she had over 200 "pet" Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. The roaches are a long story involving three science-crazed kids and a soft spot for rescue animals. The good news is, the "pet" roaches found a home... somewhere else.
