Savannah, has been working at the Sunshine Corner preschool
and she is about to have her own class. Savannah is also the baby and only girl
in her family, living in an apartment over the garage at her parents’ home.
People think she is spoiled and can not handle anything on her own and she is
out to prove them wrong. When Savannah is asked to plan her best friends
wedding, she can not believe that she must do it with Noah, her brothers’ best
friend. He is the one person that rubs Savannah the wrong way, and it does not
help that his daughter is also in her preschool class. What will happen when
the two of them are forced to spend time together? Can they put their
differences aside and plan a dream wedding for their best friends?
Noah would do anything for his best friend and that includes
having to spend time with his friend’s little sister, the torn in his side. He
is already taxed to the max with his job and trying to raise his daughter and
this is one more complication he does not need. His sweet daughter Rosie seems
to love Savannah, and maybe Noah is not seeing the whole picture. Does he have
what it takes to help plan the wedding?
I loved the “House on Sunshine Corner”, the first book in
Phoebe Mills series, so I was thrilled to start reading the second book. I
enjoyed getting to know Savannah and Noah while getting reacquainted with
characters from the first novel. It is such a charming story, full of family,
friends and small-town living. The characters were well written, especially Rosie,
who just melted my heart. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Mills has in store
for us with her next book. Forever Publishing, Netgalley and author Poebe Mills
have my thanks for my advanced readers copy that I read and reviewed in
exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. A fabulous five star read
friends.
