Lizzie
Morgan and Ritchie Schneider met and fell in love in 1978. Their relationship
was tumultuous and complicated. Over the years they had three beautiful
children and many ups and downs in their relationship, but they never stopped
loving each other. Now decades later, both Lizzie and Richie have passed leaving
an unexpected gift for their children.
Addie,
Nathan and Courtney are surprised when they receive a letter about a safety
deposit box in the Camans that their father Richie had. Each of the children
have speculation as to what is in the box, but together they go to retrieve
what is inside. The unexpected gift will try and tear them apart and will be
the ultimate test of their bond to their family and the legacy their parents
left behind.
Brenda Janowitz
takes her readers on a journey of an epic love story through the pages of this
incredible novel. I loved reading Lizzie and Richie’s story throughout the book
along with the stories of Addie, Nathan and Courtney. It was so well written,
and you could feel the tension of the siblings jump off the page. The
characters were facing real challenges that any family could be facing after
losing their parents, which made the book even more real. Thank you so much to
Harlequin, the author Brenda Janowitz and Netgalley for an advanced readers
copy which I was gifted in return for my honest review. A solid five star read!
