The holidays
are approaching, and Summer Beach is ready for it’s first performance at the
new arts theater that Axe and Kai have built. All the residents are ready to
pitch in and support this new endeavor.
For Marina, things get complicated when an old
friend comes to town leaving her with a difficult choice where Jack is
concerned. When the townsfolk start taking bets for Team Jack and Team Cole,
Marina feels caught between the two men as they vie for her attention. Things
start to heat up when the play goes into rehearsal, and Marina must save the
day. Which team does Marina choose?
Kai is so
excited to be directing her first play. She and Axe have been planning and now
they are ready to show Summer Beach what they have been up to. When they have
to spend all their time together, what will happen to Summer Bays newest couple?
Jack has a
decision to make, and it is not an easy one. He loves his son, but he also
wants to have a relationship with Marina. When Leo’s mother makes a life
changing announcement, how will Jack handle the choice he is about to make?
I loved this
third book in The Coral Cottage at Summer Beach series by Jan Moran. It was so
fun to go back and visit the residents of Summer Beach again. I love the depth
of the characters and how life events lead them to have to make difficult decisions.
It makes the story “real” and you can not help but become entwined in the
characters lives. I also liked how characters from the Summer Beach series make
cameo appearances in this book as well. Jan Moran brings small town living to a
whole new level with both series. My sincere thanks to Jan Moran for a
complimentary copy of the book in exchange for my honest opinion.
