Monroe Roberts
is in a rut. She is working as a restaurant manager for a family friend, a job
she has had since high school. She had aspirations of running her own bakery
business, but that went out the window when her husband devastated her world.
She has now put her life on hold to take care of her father and is sure that
she will never fall in love again. When a stranger walks into the restaurant,
her whole world is going to be turned upside down. Is she ready to take a
chance?
Ethan
Hammersmith is trying to fly under the radar in the small town of Forever Falls
while he searches for answers. It sure does not help that he looks just like a
famous movie star though. When he meets an intriguing woman by chance, maybe
she can help him solve his mystery and help him blend into the townsfolk. But
will she agree to his proposal?
What a sweet
and humorous story by Stefanie London. She wrote the story so beautifully I
could picture the fiery Monroe and “Thor” as if they were standing right in
front of me. I loved the lighthearted romance, and the added mystery of Ethan’s
family was a bonus. This author was truly a delight to read, and I look forward
to reading more of her books. My thanks to Entangled Publishing, Stefanie
London and Netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinions.
Stefanie's books have been called "genuinely entertaining and memorable" by Booklist, and her writing praised as "Elegant, descriptive and delectable" by RT magazine. Her stories have earned accolades such as the RT Top Pick and have achieved bestseller status with USA Today and iBooks.
Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. After sneaking several literature subjects into her 'very practical' Business degree, she worked in HR and Communications. But writing emails for executives didn't fulfil her creative urges, so she turned to fiction and was finally able to write the stories that kept her mind busy at night.
Originally from Australia, she now lives in Toronto with her very own hero and is currently in the process of doing her best to travel the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, lipstick, romance novels and anything zombie-related.
