Saltwater Crossing by Amelia Addler
Sydney Burke has been working for his uncle’s development company mostly keeping an eye on his cousin and his projects. He is fine doing that as his uncle has always looked after Sydney while he was growing up in a less than ideal household with an alcoholic father. People think he grew up privileged and he has never corrected them so he could fit in with his peers. When he is told he must work with the uptight, arrogant sister of Jade’s, he is less than impressed. All he needs to do is keep the peace so that they can secure the parks project to open a new branch of their company. How hard can it be?
Tiffany and Sydney butt heads and hearts throughout the story as the mystery unravels of the missing funds. Can they learn to trust each other and open their hearts to a second chance at love?
Amelia Addler has another hit on her hands with this fourth book in the Westcott Bay series. The characters were brilliantly written, and I loved how there was a little mystery thrown in. We also get to catch up with past characters and what is happening in their lives, which I loved. I was drawn right into the story from the first page and enjoyed this novel immensely. In the epilogue we even get a little sneak peek of who the next novel might be about. I can hardly wait! A huge thank you so much to the author Ameila Addler for an advanced copy of the book to review. It was fabulous! All opinions expressed for this review are unbiased and entirely my own.
Thank you so much for stopping by the farmhouse. Lynn
