Ride of a Lifetime

Happy Monday!! Hope your weekend was nice and relaxing! Today I'm sharing my layout for the new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy. I loved this one by Ashley Horton, she is such a sweet friend! When I saw the sketch I immediately thought "cutesy".. but then looked for some photos and have had these on my desk for awhile now. Ryan and Ashley went on a quad ride at the lake and came back covered in mud with big smiles on their faces, so I went from cute to grungy, lol. I kept fussing and fussing, something was missing. In the end I decided to just "let it be", lol. Sometimes you just have to do that I think. I was excited to play with some Cameo cuts and try out my stencil that I cut.. now that was fun! Hope you can stop by and play along with us! Now I'm off to see what the other designers did with Ashley's sketch!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn

  5. It looks great Lynn! Nice and grungy to go along with the outdoorsy/sporty photos. I know what you mean though about letting a layout be. Been there and done that, recently in fact. Awesome job!
