In the second book of the “Sometimes in Love” series we meet up with Bonnie and Theo who were introduced in the first book of the series. Bonnie is a English Professor whose life takes a dramatic turn just as she is offered a job overseas. What better time to jump at a new opportunity when you need a new start in life. When Bonnie arrives at her new home, a surprise is waiting! Into the story walks Theo, the dashing man Bonnie remembers from her first trip abroad. What should she do? Offer Theo friendship? Is she ready for love again? Is Theo hiding a family secret that may tear them apart?
This story by Melonie Johnson is written as a love story, but you will find humor, friendship, trust and faith all on the pages of this fabulous book. You don’t need to read the first book in the series, “Getting Hot with the Scot”, but you don’t want to miss that one either! It was fun to read Bonnie’s story and also to catch up with favorite characters from the first book. I absolutely loved this book , so a big thank you to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for an advanced copy to review.
