The Neighbors are Watching - Book Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aggie Blum Thompson’s “The Neighbors are Watching” is a suspenseful urban thriller full of twists, turns and an ending you will not see coming.

A quiet suburban neighbourhood has an unsolved murder that the neighbors blow off as a home invasion gone bad. When a woman, Caren who was at a party wakes up the next day with no recollection of what happened the night before, things start to heat up. Caren and an unsuspecting ally Finn start digging deeper to find out what really happened that night and the night of the murder. Are the two connected? Will they get to close to the truth to put their own lives in danger?

I loved the novel and could just imagine this quiet high-income neighbourhood with all their secrets, lies and half truths. The novel was well written with believable characters and story lines. I loved all the twists and turns and how the novel progressed. My thanks to St. Martin’s Press for the advanced readers copy which I voluntarily read and reviewed. A perfect summer read to curl up with.
