Letting Go: For The Soon To Be Empty Nester (Life’s Biggest Moments) - Book Review

One day you are rocking a baby, gazing at the school across the street, and wondering when they will be old enough to start. The next thing you know, you are watching as that baby, now a grown woman is walking down the aisle and starting her new life. Now it is just you standing on the porch as they drive away, wondering what do I do now?  Time goes by so quickly, and as parents we wonder…. Did we do enough? Did we say the right things? Did we guide them well and prepare them for their journey?

This beautifully written book by Eevi Jones will make your heart sing and take you on a journey you will not soon forget. Each page is beautifully illustrated, and the words flow effortlessly on the pages. I loved how the verses rhymed and it made me sit and reflect on my life from being a new mother to now being an empty nester. I absolutely adored this book and I plan on buying a hardcover edition for my daughter and myself. One thing, also the most important thing I learned from the book was that I did the best I could do, and I am so proud of the children I raised. I am enough, and my new journey is just beginning as well.
