Saltwater Cove - Book Review

A sweet story with great characters set in a beautiful small town.

Meet Margie Clifton, who at 48 is starting over after a divorce. Her brother sold her his property for $1 and she has grand plans to turn the old barn into an event setting. She wants a place to call home for her and her grown children, but Margie is carrying a secret that could ruin everything.

Hank Kowalski is the Chief Deputy Sheriff in town and when he meets Margie, he has mixed feelings. Is she some rich socialite in town for a vacation or is she really as sweet as she comes across? After losing his wife, Hank is not ready for a relationship, but there is something about Margie that has sparked his interest.

As Margie tries to solve her mysterious secret, a stranger shows up who just might blow everything to bits. Along with Margie's grown children, an ex husband and a certain handsome Chief Deputy, things start to heat up in the cove. Will Margie's secret bring her family closer together or farther apart?

Amelia Addler has a hit on her hands with this series! I loved how she developed not only the main characters, but also the supporting characters throughout the story. The reader gets drawn into the family, the town and the mystery surrounding it all. I really enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Amelia Addler writes always sweet, always swoon-worthy romance and women's fiction stories and believes that everyone deserves their own happily ever after. Her soulmate is a man who once spent five weeks driving her to work at 4AM after her car broke down (and he didn't complain, not even once). She is lucky enough to be married to that man and they live in Pittsburgh with their little yellow mutt.
